hello this week has been terriblyterribly tiring! i can't wait for the week to be over.

ANYWAY i feel like blogging though its 1230 and my eyelids are starting to weigh a ton.

i felt so happy during the concert just now! hmm for once i actually really enjoyed the playing and feeling the music etc. and i paid attention throughout the whole concert! sometimes during rehearsal i don't really feel the motivation to play well. but today was good:) i hope to keep it up.

after concert i was so happy to see so many familiar faces.. my mg schoolmater/juniors/mgse juniors hc stringers/schoolmates acjc seniors/friend and acsi orch people. it feels so warm to know that you're actually playing and making music for people you know/are familiar with. it is also so happy to see friends/family coming showing your support. i can't spell how much i appreciate it! on top of taking the trouble to come down and show their appreciation they still give you tokens of encouragement after that! sigh this world is actually filled with great people everywhere.

yawn what a tiring week! i miss my march holiday :(

the new term's been rather interesting so far(minus the dreadful fact that our common and class tests are looming around the corner) with my new class and all. i guess with the 2nd intakers we actually lost out alot especially the bonding part but i think generally everyone is quite nice and over time we'll def get to know each other better.

and i am typing this while waiting for the pictures to be uploaded. it is so terribly irritating the photos always take so long to be uploaded arghhhh. does xanga/livejournal etc allow you to upload photos faster?

haha btw the hairband in the last picture is mine. ok i am so so so tired......

it's the last day of the new year! i only have about 2-3 boxes of new year goodies left sniff. we wouldn't be buying anymore sadly, but it's good in the sense i will be prevented from indulging in escalating towards an elephantine figurine.

this year's new year was especially happening! hmmm for once i actually had something on everyday of the new year holiday (be it visiting or going out) and it actually felt like the new year. well i think i'm starting to appreciate the new year tradition more after feeling this unusual gaiety after getting to see my beloved relatives and elders and relishing the company of other beings.

alright enough ranting.

the highlight of the first day was the visit to grandma's house! ( i believe many others do as well)

by late afternoon i think most of my relatives on my maternal side had arrived, and we congregated in the guest room for our usual round of gossip:P

oh and third aunt had a new dog :D
and we had our usual round of steamboat.. i love my grandma's curry!

on the second day we went to visit a distant relative's family, up till now i still don't know how i should address them(the chinese way of addressing that is, since in english everyone's an uncle or auntie). and they had so many boxes of nice goodies lined up on the table! i should have taken a picture. so the whole time everyone was just feasting and talking and slacking.

later on i visited deb! i got such a shock when i saw mrs sim(MGS vice principal) right in front of me! only learnt later that she's deb's dad's ex acjc schoolmate. hah! what a small world.

on the last day i went out, then to my 2nd uncle's house. i could finally had a good chat with xian! well there were many other people there which i did not know so the only thing i liked was the noise and liveliness. all the aunties were having fun with the karaoke and there was this room filled with boys all glued to their laptops (yes, they were lanning what else). and the food was great! esp the red bean soup. i drank like 3 bowls consecutively!

am looking forward to the next school holiday! (excluding tomorrow's).

school's been happening and tiring thank God for letting me pull through!
