what an eventful day.
where do i start? i seldom blog about events, because i really can't be bothered to and they are time consuming... but today's is exceptional. so i shall..... blog about it!
i woke up relatively early, i don't know why. i slept at 130am but woke up at 830. on a usual day i would have slept right through till like 10! or 11 heheh. so i took my time having breakfast...
and i wondered, so why haven't a single person asked me where we are gonna meet later? was supposed to meet mich, chia, rach, nat btw.
and i called ms michelle, and little gladys said she was out.
and i called ms natalie, and her mum said natalie was on the bus.
natalie on the bus???? ooooohhhhh
strange. and later chia called me, and she asked me out for breakfast. i was supposed to give them a lunch treat and now she wants to eat breakfast at close to 11?
'What if we can't eat lunch later!'

we went to gutherie house for venezia! and it was so quiet and nice. we saw people studying.. luckily ours are over heh:D nice ice cream yummmmay.
SO we went back to my house's busstop as mich and nat said they were gonna meet us there. i thought it was strange i mean they can just you know, go straight to town? hmm ok nevermind. then chia said 'zhiway did you bring camera?' 'oh crap! no!!'
chia, with a cheeky smile, 'lets go back to your house to get it!'
hello chia, my house i 1km from the bus stop. walk that with heels under this blistering hot weather? no dudette.
but the nice me, under her persuasion....... okay. right.
lets go get it.
'hello yunwei, could you look for my camera? tell you what, i start walking in, you start walking out of the house. so i dont have to walk so much. okay?'
'okay'.
ten minutes later i was already at the shophouse waiting. NO YUNWEI.
'where are you?!"
'er.,. reaching!'
5 minutes, NO YUNWEI.
calling yunwei.. no response. WTH
chia, 'come on zhiwei, i need the toilet, lets go to your house'
'fine'
opens the door, sitcky sweating panting. rushes up the stairs and yunwei was standing there looking silly. 'why didn't you walk out?!'
yunwei points to my closed room door....
i dash in... oh my.........
rainbow coloured balloons filling every corner and a nice hot pink box in the middle.
and three very pretty young ladies fanning themselves and sitting on my bed.
'HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZHIWAY'
damn it, it was rather touching.
and now a balloon which says 'happy birthday' hangs from my fan smiling at me. very happy indeed...
come on guys, you guys are so-not-the-best okay <3
we trodded off soon, after dropping by estivos for gelare. princess michelle and her hunger pangs again..
law abiding taximen. they didn't want to take us 4 and a half kiddies :(
first stop: FAR EAST PLAZA
erm i spent most of my money here. so did everyone else except rach thrift wang. not bad i bought some things i needed. michelle and her shoes lol.
second stop: CK TANG
michelle and nat brought shades. SLIMSHADY! haha yes nat, we know your shades are UV protected ;)
third: PARAGON
din tai fung! yummy fried rice with egg chia's recommendation. yummy! i liked it. it was my treat :D it was like 3pm so late lunch and we skipped dinner later. so we filled out stomachs and continued our journey! (to the whoknowswhat direction)
fourth stop: HEEREN
ok nat got her retro hairband and bracelet.
fifth and final: PLAZA SING
erm stupid 143 played us on it didn't stop at cathay it went to fort canning! and we had to plod back. with everready sneakers-on-the-run dashing ahead. determined nat as always. not so determined zhiway and rachel always :)
cathay had to suitable slots for devil wears prada. so we went to PS and caught the 640 show. sigh chia why did you have to leave :( ahah she is such a good girl.
i liked the movie, maybe not all that great. but well it was funny, interesting, and it had its own meaning in it. it had a moral.. i guess i learnt something from it. not bad la..
GELARE WAFFLES(no pun intended) was so nice. i want to eat them every tuesday ! !
me and rachel left first cos my mum was on the way to pick me form newton already. much and nat were still pigging out at mos burgers.
so that was the end of the wonderful eventful onedayearly birthday celebration.
it was great.
mich sent me an sms later on 'hope now birthdays mean so much more to you!:D'
you know, with friends you all, you can bet my new violin they always do!
i love you all poks !
so its family day later, which was why i didn't celebrate with them on the actual day.
i am looking forward to good food and maybe another ton of calories ;)
