hello guess what I JUST GOT BACK FROM GIL SHAHAM'S CONCERT OMG it was... im speechless!
i NEVER had a passion for chinese music you know.. but hey he changed my impression of it! the butterfly lover's was really nice! especially the fast part was like zai la.. and the main tune was so preettty! the vibrato and everything was like so refined.. and his violin sound just echos through the whole hall.. and though i was sitting in circle 3 it sounded really brilliant! the sound must've been 2 times better down at the stalls.. and during the intermission i was totally in awe just sat in the seat and stared and the stage.. haha. oh yup i was late btw. so missed the first piece.. Rossini's La overture.. by SSO. oh well its only 12 minutes so nvm.. the highlights still the solos anyway. =) and yup now the bigshot.. tchaikovsky! i never really heard much of the first movement before..l only liked the main tune. but his candenza was great. yup good one considering it shows off different kinds of technical skills.. oh 2nd movement was the g8 exam piece! eh so nice k! its so nice you can CRY! sound's really smooth.. no breaks or flaws.. or at least i didn't hear any.. and there's like no break in between the 2nd and 3rd.. so boom the people just came in like all of a sudden after the slow movement.. damn contrasting man. oh 3rd's my favourite=) the finale.. man his double stops are crYSTAL clear! and like when he starts from the first position, he'll bend his knees, then as he reaches the higher position, he'll slowly stand and maybe even jerk a little! nice musical moves! hahaha.. very very good. so sad.. no encore. but hey! i got his autograph! muahahahha... oh yar he has a really BIG stomach k. he says he LOVES food. so that explains it. haha.. anyway i gtg! its late! so yupp shall talk about the rest of today another time.. quite a happening day. yup. nighters

hello yawn! dont have much time here.. so shall make it a short one. hmmx not much today. went for TO.. and sigh rehearsals are scheduled to be on mondays at 7-9 at night with effect from 25th october onwards.. they say if you cant make it for anyday. you'll hafta quit. well that timeslot is not problem for me but its like.. aiyo.. weekdays are gonna be soooo packed. at night? like what if i have a test tomorrow? sigh. die! and i have to stay back on mondays for higher chinese somemore=( why cant they just not touch satudays! leave it la! cause so much inconvenience sigh. oh wel.. what have i to say anyway. later wanted to catch my sis playing in the masterclass.. but found out its only for the players. so yup. walked around the mall.. at night went with grandparents to this teochew restaurant at Clarke Quay area. ahahah the service is damn slow man.. waited so long for those few plates of food=S. anyway it was quite a good meal.. so happy to see my grandparents! havent spent time with them for soo long liao. and the yam paste was suuuper filling. everyone could only take in like half a bowl and packed the rest back haha. well.. sent them back and there was like this auction thing at their place. ahah interesitng. have never been to one before. oh well. tomorrow i have viola and i havent touched it for the WHOLE week. i feel so guilty... sigh. night!

omg all my term tests are over!! last straw of geog today.. it was quite hard though. compared to our previous tests.. but nvm. its oVER> science.. i think it wasn't as bad as the previous lah. but.. i never do well for science so. yup. nevermind. wednesday we had ensemble. finally selected certain pieces to work on.. and i think al least our Elgar's getting somewhere. so one piece got hope. the other i still don't know. pending.. yups on thursday supposed to have practise for vivaldi 4 violins but Sarah B apparently, had some spine injury, so she couldn't come to school. so it was last minute cancelled. so went for lunch then went home. phew.. close shave man! and today english was slack! mrs tan is soo nice! most people said they could not finish the assignment byt today. when she already gave us time for research.. so she postponed it all the way to the thursday after the hols! so nice rightt. can slack! hahaha. oh wel. so today just came home and slept cos i was burnt. anyways. the no cca on sat school for sec/tertiarry students rule's really dumb. ah well.s gtg nighties!

haha. ohoh on sat i wanted to go for ernie's concert! but damn the tickets were sold out! haha he said we could've tried finding him backstage or something.. but i didn't think of that. cos the concert had already started anyway.. sighh.
monday night i was mugging for science! tried to cramp all the sound stuff into my head.. then this morning. i found out that chap10 also tested? its like wth?
then last minute everything again// but anyway. i'm glad it o-v-e-r. so oh well. now its geog and next friday is the last day of school! hahaha.

i'm trapped in school because of the rain! i mean.. i like the rain. but not under such circumstances! eurgh. sucks. gotta wait for dad to pick me.. so meanwhile i shall slack=)
so where was i? ohoh. oh hey ANDREA i didn't know you had such thcikk eyebrows! so cool! you know i have a habit of noticing people with thick eyebrows. but i didn't know you had it too. lol=)
so sunday.. hmx. it was pretty slack in the morning cos i was really tired. from now on violin lessons are gonna be changed to sunday.. so =(. cant sleep. but oh wel.. had the usual viola. i did bach/ because i didn practice any study.. went there like totally unprepared. i cant remember.. but i think we were doing bow strokes. yup. then talking quite alot too.. time in that lesson seemed to pass very slowly. oh at night they showed fireworks for the last time! could see a very small verison from it form my room window. it was beauutiful! the best compared to the others. i think. would've been much nicer close up. monday had chinese test.. pretty screwed up. MEP test on tues.. well i'm quite ok with my mark la. compared to the previous ones it does show improvement. yup. thursday.. yesterday.. had math test. yeah i think i failed. yes failed. minus couple of marks of the paper liao.. sighh. oh yeah and i FINALLY got the vivaldi scores! thanks zhaohan for bringing it over. you saved our lives! though.. those few strands of overaged noodles found on the conductor score doesn't seem very appealling.
oh ya watched s'pore idol.. so sad. judges go for like.. your image. they don't really see the talent in the person! or potential. and they're just like copycats.. following simon cowells style of critising and insults. but oh wel.. some of them are damn poor thing. like that jeremy khoo guy.. can still remember his excitement when he first got the the preliminary rounds. ah well. that's life i suppose? sighh*
this week. lost lots of sleep. hope to catch up more on sleep in the weekend.

hello. apologies apologies. hahah. well on saturday i came home too late to blog, on sunday i had to mug for chinese, on monday i had to mug for MEP, on tues i wanted to use the comp but.. wait what was i doing? but something happened. and yesterday i had to do work. came home late cos of CCA.. so yup. using illegal time here to blog. ah well =P.
but ahah.. cheeky tune though, oh and there was this part violas had a really long rest. then they had to play those crucial 3 notes! and the violas managed to come in in time! so pro! its really hard you know.. counting 14 bars then playing 3 notes which brings in the melody on the next section. haahha! then after one big round that arabic tune came back again.. bu yes. good. very good concert. huge applause. until someone clapped 'off beat'.. which they called it the cue for the president to go. haha.. went down and wanted t go to the stage door to congratule andrea. but waited a while and she still wasn't out. so assumed she's already left la. then the whole load of them were standing there for at least 15 minutes? trying to decide whether to take bus/mrt home..... then me ty pipetius were gonn take bus.. on the way to the stop. rach called to say andrea was out. ahah! yup she had to go meet the president that's why was held up for so long. and hey really nice to see you again! so she was talking about the trip and stuff.. sounding really excited, haha. then went home. it was pretty late already.. few stuff happened that caused the delay. hm.. but yup it doesn't matter. ok mrs tan says shut down your machines... continue tonight! bye!
hmmm oh sat was a really long day i remember.. can still remember the tiredness. its like this completely drained feeling.. heavy in the head and weak in the body. i was totally burnt.
sigh spent the whole morning in school doing cheap labour.. i shan't comment much but one of the teacher's was VERY amused by my offence ahha. oh wel..
then went for TO. you know how BORING rehersals are. i mean... not that i'm always there to talk and give trouble but i mean. we gotta eep ourselves awake? and it is dreading. seriously. can't we play like much better and nicer sounding pieces that's of the same level instead of those super draggy ones. help! haven't they ever thought of it this way? if you give a nice sounding piece, it may help MOTIVATE the players more and they'll play better? sigh. and sigh again.. the woodwinds certainly aren't playing up to standard.. not like the strings either anyway. so everyone's not up to standard. we're dropping. we're lagging.. wayway behind. compare last year to now. sigh.. wonder if anyone'd come over and help bring us back again. so.. nothing more to say la. just that some things over there really freaked me out. argh. shan't comment.
so i went for violin.. and ms yap let me try those new italian violins on sale! well the 15k one is out cos i know my parents wouldn't budge.. but hey the 8k one does seem apealing. but then again i don't think i need such a good one la sigh.. not like i'm those prokias or anything. but yup. maybe i'll look around more. lesson was fine. at least i hear my grieg melody sounding! yay. though other pieces are getting kinda stale.. gotta bring myself to practisepractisepractise.
shoulders were almost breaking after lesson! oouch!
walked over to novena square cos i was looking for some stuff.. apparently the shop there has moved. but oh wel.. continued to walk around in hope of finding the same thing i wanted.. saw a few other things that caught my eye.. will go back there another day. but yup finally saw ok.. not exactly the thing i wanted but something similar to it. so i bought it! and was quite happy. then went home.. bathed. took a 15min nap. then mum dropped me off at newton so that i could take the train down to esplanade.. was gonna watch AYO concert yup. so i was taking my own sweet time ahha.. had to go library to borrow urgent scores. so i was walking though citylink mall and saw jeremy! he was like jumping and going 'zhiweizhiweizhiwei!'. so qiao! and yup he was going suntec i think.. but yup he said he'd walk me to esplanade so ya. we walked there.. then he turned and walked back. newae thanks yeah! hahaha. went up the library. and started my search. my frantic search in vain of getting that vivaldi 4 violins score. you there there's like EVERYTHINg except that piece? concerto for 2 violins.. concerto for violin and basso continuo.. even SOPRAno also have! everything but FOUR violins! this is frustrating. then i went over to another shelf.. and saw a FOUR. jumped over and argh. four seasons. one whole row of stupid four seasons. argh! after a while checked my watch and saw it was like 7 already.. had to go down and meet ernie to collect the tickets. on the way down i met wenyi.. she was buying a LEGOLAS poster! i was like oh my god! ahhhh! ahahahha... isn't he so cute!
on the way down the next escalator.. i saw this weird scenario! look. this girl was with her boyfriend.. standing on the escalator on the same step. going down. the girl fell.. and the guy caught her by the arm JUST in time. and he was like "what will happen if i'm not here? what if you fall down and no one saves you and you get injured? then how? how?" hahaha! then the girl was like blushing and asking him to shush.. i was laughing like siao! damn cutee! ahahahahah.
so yup. saw Pipetius at the booth counter area, then ernie stepped in. passed the tics to me.. waited a while for ty to come cos i gotta pass him his tic. then went in.
hey the first song was really nice.. like the effect and all. its like they can actuallly sustain the sound of the slow notes and let it ring. considering the acoustics in esplanade are pretty dry... i must say it w as pro! of them being able to make the sound warn. dedicated to someone.. forgot her name. claire something.
oh yup next was shostakovich.. erm. i played this at TO kast year.. was always quite ok with the piece. one of the more challenging ones actually. i like the midde part! where all the violins play the running ntoes on the super high position and violas just play the lower tune. and the ending's really grand.. pretty impressed with the brass! the beginning few ntoes were relly nice! hahaha.
oh then it was the strauss? heard small little screw ups here and there.. but not obvious ones la. really minor stuff. you'll only know if you've seen the piece.. ahha. i like that sharpener thingy! damn cute! sounds like ths boy in the garden trying to use a catapult to shoot down a bird.. its called merrypranks after all. and strauss is known for composing light hearted pieces. so yar. haha.. nice.
intermission.. saw rachel. still no scores. sigh.
mahler. oh hey i was pretty erm surprised when i saw the double bass solo. first itme i'm hearing a double bass solo! it was not bad.. although the middle few notes were a little out.

man today i was sleeping in class.. barely survived geog sigh. but math kinda like jisted me up and stuff. and yup CIP business was not bad.. considering we could finish one pack of posters. then after that had osme eating habits talk during CME and after school rushed to comp lab to print art pics. then waited 20MINUTES for mrs tan outside the staffroom. sighs. oh wel.. tomorrow's gonna be a long day sighhh. ah well gtg dad

this morning i woke up and couldn't find my badge!
so i dashed to class and yvoone lent me her broken badge.. and i jut added a but of tape and tada. a badge=) was soo relieved. dont wanna get another booking you know.
so school was sian.. lit i almost slept. or was i sleeping? ahah and Ms June Tan just HAD to catch me wearing the white glove.. man.
so the last period MEP. the one and a half hours is just SO totally dreadful i mean all you do is sit there, get picked on, listen to really boring music and answer weird questions.
so yes after that went for lunch! highlight of the day. you know at those coffeeshops opp. beauty world? yes haven't been there for long haha.. cos usually won't go that direction. but yup today's an exception=). and took that looong walk from the busstop t my house as usual.
watched the procession just now. you know what.. i think Goh Chok Tong's son is cutee! man he looks like really classy and all. not like those usual minister fuddyduddys you get me. hahaha!
yup Lee Kuan Yew never loses his charm.
No crys he doesn't look like at orang-utan!!!
haha.. it wasn't as boring as i thought afterall.
wonder if we'll have a new batch of ministers just as capable as the old generation.. to bring singapore into greater heights. hm. gotta pray hard.
must really thanks the older batch for taking us this far..
and sigh in the evening mum was kinda pissed at me so took my phone away? but i just got it back. yay=).
so today.. not much. cant wait for the weekend!

hello. had ensemble farewell party today.. it was at Rachel's uncle's house! cool right. it was this reeeally huge house which was like super high class and stuff. swimming pools and jacuzzi.. man. world class k! hmm.. really wonder what kinda house i would live in when i grow upp. wonder how i'd be like when i grow up too! dressing up for work.. preparing breakfast for my kids.. sending my kids to school..sitting on a chair looking at the comp screen.talking to clients.. interesitng haha. oh well.. there was a whole lottajunk food there! lots of chips. cookies. lauren's special spaghetti. pizza.. wow. i brought cutlery=) no cutlery. no food. yeah(=. so after a while zab and a few others came pushing me into the pool and i got a shock of my life.. but once i went in i climbed out again. hahaha. yup all the peeps were having lotsa fun splashing around and doing crazy stuff loool. haha.. but hey those few hours really got me into thinking of all my past fun memories i had with ensemble. all the day from day one. especially when i was watching our video on her super nice screen with the others. ensemble!!! we gotta maintain this okay! dont let it slip! dont give up! give your best. you'll be happy.. so people.. take it i'm begging you to practise alright. sigh gtg night!

so this marks the end of our NDP hols. so i am in a rather sigh-ish mood.
ok maybe NOT so sigh-ish considering there're also lotsa small stuff around to cheer you on. aren't they just lovely..
yup today no much. but hey tonight was reeeally windy! so nice! i simply looove the night wind ok. it gives me this.. uplifting feeling. just like the one i get on rainy nights. you know when you sleep.. the raindrops go pitterpatter and stuff.. each drop seem to have its meaning.. and hey its reealy comfy when you like getta sleep in your cosy blanket and stuff.
oh i was tuning in to radio as usual.. and this guy wanted the song lemon tree dedicated to the guy who sang it at s'pore idol yest! OMG. thinking of that seriously gives me stitches ok. goodness. so funnnnnny! hahaha.. so jamie went to get the CD due to popular demand and the original track is like.. soooo much nicer? omg! that guy totally changed it! he really suceeded in being s'pore's verison of william hung and YES everyone watching the series will DEFINITELY remember him.
i just so gotta catch tomorrow's episode! singapore is full of.. 'talents'.
and yes.. lit test on friday and we're still not told what to study. i really can't stand incompetent people.. lets see what we get given 2 days to mugg up all those we gotta study.
so yes.. dad chasing me means i gtg. gt wake early agian.. sian. sigh.
man some things are just sooooo worth looking forward too.=)

haven't blog in a few days. have been either too carried away chatting away on msn in my online time haha.
lets begin from. yesterday?
oh wait. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE! happy 39th burfdae! haha we were just learning about the merger of s'pore and malaysia in our previous history test. yes WE've come a long way indeed.=)
yesterday. oh i had viola. and since students haven't been going to Ernie's house for sometime.. i think his dog felt kinda lonely. so when she first saw me coming, she was like barking non stop! jumping around and stuff. damn cute! took sometime for her to cool down. but yup. so started lesson off with a conversation as usual.. and Ernie was commenting about our horrible 'violists' attitude in TO. haha! 'When Mr Lee raises his baton, you aren't ready. Before he ends, you already put your instrument down. when you guys are released, you all go 'yay' and run off. tsktsk' lol! well.. that can't be more true can it! and well lesson was ok.
after that went to bring grandpa off for dinner. its been sometime since we've spent time with him.. so yup. was quite happy to see him in a good mood! after that went with fam and cous to go watch the fireworks.. since i wanted to like loiter around after that. mum and fam left first.
and yes it was one of the best journey home man.. whee!
i shan't go into detail.. hmm. but yup. it did take me sometime to get home. longer than usual.. ahahahhaha. man.
today was bORiNG. i slacked quite alot.. but managed to get some work done. some. yes haha. oh hey singapore idol..
can really give you a good heart attack. and stitches from continuous crude laughter. to those who sang and gave their best, i salute you! your courage is absolutely.. words can't describe haha.

ok i'm gonna continue. hmm discussing about what to wear for National Day celebration on friday.. whole class gonna wear red and white. the usual.. white bottom.. hm..
yes slept really late on Sunday night cos i simply couldn't sleep. woke up the next day only to find out my mum couldn't sleeptoo. after learning my grandfather's leg swelled quie badly.. sigh it's getting worrying. the only way for him to ease pain is to like inject the morphine thingy which makes you really numb and you tend to forget a lotta stff.. so i think he's really confused lor. poor thing sigh,, :(
i totally screwed the sci today...forgot how to calculate total resistance. sigh i think i'm gonna fail.. screw!! so today i hope i can mug finish hist. sigh.. one and a half chapters? doesn really seem possible but i'll try. argh.
any pros in history? if there are please help me i'm in vain.
and i'm so tired now.. gonna sleep this afternoon i think. otherwise i'll just lie flat on my book when i start. today during comprehension test i slept.. and for next lesson we're only given 15 minutes more?! how am i gonna finish summary and cloze in just that short period of time. arghargh. crap.. the opening of school hasn't been going that well. nvm. hope for above 70 for end of year average..

gotta go SPCA for CIP on fri aftr celebration.. oh well.

sigh i'm sad the musical's over! the whole band was like sobbing away on Gala night! aw..
But well, Mrs Lim is gonna give us a VCD and audio CD of it! haha. this is gonna be the first time i get to watch it from an audience's point of view.. cos usually im watching from below the stage or form the pit. coool! can you believe people were like emailing Mrs Lim saying they couldn't believe the band was not Wenfu's own band but actually a REAL live band from MGS. yes. haha! and we did chapel yesterday.. was so last minute.. cramping everything in last minute. but we didn't screw up! and thew band members actually switched instruments halfway.. cool.. and actually i was really sleepy cos like couldn't sleep on Sunday night but oh wel... thAT kinda woke me up haha . AH GTG
